My good friends Nyabana Brenda & Hangson Osler have now started their own registered tour business in Uganda. Osler Tours & Safaris Uganda offer an exciting range of safaris and tours in

Game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park

This activity involves the visitors to drive through the park while viewing animals. The park has several sports of well maintained game viewing tracks. This park has got over 200 kms of well maintained game tracks. The best time for game drive is in the morning hours where there are high chance of seeing elephants, buffaloes, tree climbing lions, birds and a variety of antelopes and other wildlife.


Day 1 arrive in Kampala

Our guide will welcome and greet you at Entebbe international airport drive you to hotel for evening rest including a welcome session and dinner


Day 2 Kampala to kasese

Following the breakfast, depart from Kampala to kasese via fort portal route. It takes 7 hrs drive. You will have s stop over at Ribona quest house for lunch, have enough rest as you wait for tomorrow drive to the park.


Day 3 Game and boat drive to Queen Elizabeth national park

Another early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and see a variety of animal species, Buffalos, elephants, climbing loins Uganda cobs, after a relaxing lunch, continue your afternoon a scenic drive to lake Albert and Gorge at kazinga channel for a 2 hours boat drive to view the diverse wildlife, an guided nature walk along the lake shores. Return to Ribona quest house the early evening for a dinner


Day 4 Kyambura gorge chimp trekking

After you’re delicious breakfast at the hotel, journey to Queen Elizabeth park’s lone habituated chimpanzee in Africa for a guided chimp viewing. Return to the hotel in the afternoon, lunch and relax. In the evening go for a shower at Kiwa hot spring where you will also enjoy local drinks extracted from yellow bananas, sorghum. Cultural dance from there then head to Ruboni campsite  for dinner and slumber


Day 5 Nature walk to Ruboni community  forest

Depart early in the morning from the campsite for a nature walk to the community forest, focusing on the rich birding, viewing the three and one horned chameleon, Columbus monkeys, forest baboons and the local people daily activities like iron melting for making knives, axes. Enjoy a peaceful lunch on return at the campsite. Take time for Bakonzo amazing cultural dance, visit the craft shop to view and by on some beautiful items. In the evening return to the campsite for dinner with hopes of a stunning sunset view.


Day 6 Kasese to Kampala

Depart kasese for the drive back to Kampala city while viewing some towns along the way. Arrive to the hotel for relaxation as you prepare for yourself for a flight back home. Have an overnight in Kampala.


Day 7 Kampala to Entebbe international airport

Be ready to see again your family members, relatives and friends back home. Board your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight

Rwenzori Mountain of the Moon Hiking – 11 Days Hiking Tour


Day 1: arrival to Entebbe international airport to the hotel

On reach the international airport in Entebbe, you will be gladly received by a delegate from Osler Tours & Safaris that will drive you to the hotel. Dine and slumber at a hotel


Day 2: Kampala- Rwenzori Mountain

Following breakfast depart from Kampala for Rwenzori Mountains breaking in fort portal city to take photographs and also have lunch then continue to kasese dine and slumber at Ribona Guest house in kasese


Day 3: Nyakalengija (1615m) – Nyabitaba Hut (2651m)

On having breakfast, begin the tour starting at Nyakalengija and hike to Nyabitaba Hut. This will last about 5 hours. You will go through the banana plantations along the steep slopes past the forest to arrive at the Nyabitaba Hut where you will dine and slumber.

Day 4: Nyabitaba Hut – John Matte Hut (3505m).

This is the lengthiest hike running for about 7 hours from the Nyabitaba hut up to John Matte Hut. This trail will take you down through the verdant hills across river Bujuku on the Kurt Shafer Bridge which was constructed in 1989. The trail between the bridge and Nyamileju becomes steeper and rocky as you near the moorland zone as you have lunch at Nyamilenju you will be able to see Mount Speke plus Mount Stanley. You will follow river Bujuku and proceed past the heather forest. Dine and sleep at John Matte Hut.


Day 5: John Matte Hut – Bujuku Hut (3962m)

Basing on the 2 BigoBogshaven of giant lobelias, the track will go for about hours starting from John Matte Hut past Lake Bujuku with a splendid background o Mount Baker, Mt. Speke and Mt. Stanley. Dine and slumber at Bujuku Hut.

Note:

So as to reach Mount Speke it will require you to spend 2 nights because Bujuku Hut is the base of reaching there. But if you decide to trek to the highest peak the Margherita on Mount Stanley at 5109 meters and you will have to track past the Elena Hut at 4551meters which is approximately 2 km. This expedition is recommended for those who are physically well andexperienced hikers.


Day 6: Bujuku Hut – Kitandara Hut (4023m).

You will proceed with this trail from Bujuku Hut and proceed to Scot Elliot Pass which is 4372 meters and descend into the Kitandara Lakes. Dine and slumber at Kitandara Hut which is adjacent to the 2nd lake.


Day 7: Kitandara Hut – Guy Yeoman Hut (3505m)

This 5 hours walk will begin from Kitandar Hut to Guy Yeoman Hut stretching from the bottomof Mount Baker to the verdant Field Pass which is at 4282 meters offering you a chance to view the Congo plus Mount Stanley to the north. This trail will lead down into the Bujongolo Cave which is 3720 meters. Dine and slumber at rock shelter or Guy Yeoman Hut.


Day 8/9: Guy Yeoman Hut – Nyakalengija

This 5 hour trail will proceed from the Guy Yeoman Hut down to the

Nyabitaba Hut. You will then proceed to Nyakalengija as it is a three hours expedition. Dine and slumber at Nyabitaba Hut.


Day 10: Nyakalengija trail head – Kampala

You will descend the mountain and drive back to the capital city Kampala. Dine and sleep at a Guest House, or Le petit Hotel, or Cassia Lodge.


Day 11 : Kampala – Entebbe

Drive to the airport to catch your return flight home.
